Apex Festival

The Apex Festival was held at Lydden Hill race circuit in Kent on the 18-20 May 2012. 

Lydden Hill is in the middle of the Kent countryside with circuit racing all weekend lots of fast VW based action including formula Vee and the insane bi- turbo Porsche powered race taxi ! With a Show and Shine, evening entertainment with DJ's and live bands, a great kids zone with junior disco and you could even go round the track in your VW on the parade lap!

Battlesbridge VW Weekend/ Vanwest

Unfortunately the wet weather has affected another two shows for this coming weekend as more showgrounds have ended up a sodden mess. 

First up, the Essex Vee Dubbers VW Club's Battlesbridge VW Weekend has been postponed until the 22nd -24th June 2012  Any tickets already purchased will be valid for the new date, and refunds will be available for those that cannot make it.

Next is Vanwest, this show in Somerset has been postponed until the 14th - 16th September!

again all pre-purchased tickets remain valid for the new dates.

Stanford Hall

Due to the very wet weather of late the second casualty on the VW show scene was Stanford Hall . This event has been postponed rather than cancelled outright and the Leicestershire and Warwickshire VW owners club have announced that the event will now take place on the new date of the 1st of July 2012.

VW Night Campers N Buses

The second VW Night Campers N Buses was held at the 8 Ball Diner on Thursday 3rd May. Despite the  the foul weather all day, some new faces brought their buses along and joined in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This monthly event is really picking up so pop along next month and show off your bus!
